Learn the basics of Surfing on one of our One Hour Taster Surf Lessons on the the beautiful My Khe beach.
Taster Surf Lessons
Our Taster Surf Lessons is great to learn the basic skills of surfing and how to handle yourself and your surfboard in the ocean and after the one hour lesson you have 2 hours of surfboard rental to try out your new skills.
The Taster Surf Lesson will cover the basic aspects of how to surf including an introduction to surfing and the equipment used. We will spend about 10 minutes on the beach teaching the basic surf techniques from the pop up on a board to paddling and how to catch a wave and surf safety.
After that we will go over some water safety issues and then we will spend the next 50 minutes in the water with the Instructor. Our qualified instructor will demonstrate how to catch a wave before you hit the water and catch some great waves.

Activity Itinerary
Meet up with the Instructor at the Da Nang Outdoor Adventures.Get your surfboard and leash. We will provide a rash vest or a wetsuit depending on the conditions. Make sure to put on some sun cream and wear a hat because it gets quite warm in Da Nang
First we will take a short walk down to beach (about 5 minutes) to start the lesson .
Next we will do some warm up exercises and an introduction to surfing equipment and techniques such as paddling, balance and catching a wave and popping up. After the beach section the instructor will give a demonstration how to catch a wave
After the demonstration you will spend this time with the instructor catching the waves and learning how to Surf
After the lesson you will have 2 hours of surfboard rental to practice what you learnt during the lessons and to catch a few waves and get a few wipeouts.
After your finished your surfing come back to the shop

We’ll take photos and videos on our GoPro for free so you have a clip of your surfing prowess!
Water & Snacks Provided
We will provide water and snacks during the lessons to stay hydrated and full of energy. We also have hats and zinc sunscreen for students.
